E:D Colonisation Assistant is a browser-based cockpit tool for colonisation tracking and planning in Elite Dangerous.

Problem → System → Outcome

Problem. Coordinating colonisation efforts and managing fleet carriers in Elite Dangerous lacks a centralised, structured tool ~ especially during station build-outs.

System. A browser-based cockpit tool that tracks infrastructure requirements, build-out progress, system / station 'shopping lists' and real-time carrier inventory.

Outcome. Commanders could plan builds and logistics without losing track of materials, routes and station state between sessions.

What it does

A journal-driven local web HUD for Windows: per-system shopping lists aggregating every commodity still needed across a system's construction sites with progress and payment, fleet carrier cargo, market orders and capacity rebuilt from the journal and a tablet-friendly display served over your own network for cockpit mounting. It tracks your own contributions only, since Elite Dangerous journals are local to each player. The full rundown lives on the product site: ernster.dev/EDColonisationAsst.

“There’s something satisfying about flipping to a local HUD and seeing your shopping list for a station/system construction operation go green on reaching full delivery of a commodity. This is the kind of immersion that even the game itself didn’t build in.”
